Gorgeous Heirloom

I've posted small preview images of this amazing rosary before, but I've never given it the write up it deserves. I love selling these because they are so fantastic to restore. They just get better and better.



Spectacular all sterling silver RLC rosary with capped rock crystal beads and twisted torsade extenders between the paters. This is a very heavy rosary, typical of rock crystal.

The Crucifix is very ornate and marked with "RLC" and "Sterling" on the back. The open work center medal is a scapular medal with an image of the Virgin Mary on the front and Jesus on the back. The sterling mark on the center is actual worked into the design on the back of the center. Each faceted crystal bead is capped with a pair of matched sterling silver caps.

As with all high quality heirloom rosaries, there is an additional soldered link at each connection. These make the rosary easier to display and help it slide through the hand without twisting or kinking.

Attached Medals:

Silver with blue enamel Lourdes Medal marked "France".
Sterling scapular medal (French) for Our Lady of the Sacred Heart – signed with hallmarks on both the bail and medal.
Signed silver "Blessed Bernadette Pray for Us". The hallmark has been stamped onto the bail and it has a very detailed depiction of the apparition at the grotto at Lourdes.
